Another aspect of Rogers game that I do not think he gets enough credit for or that people may realize (and Gold Sunrise may have an assist in this post), but Corey Rogers, on most nights, will guard the other teams best player regardless of position. At 6'5 240 (???) and his ability to guard such a diverse group of players in amazing!

I cannot say that GRC has exceeded my expectations. I cannot say that they have met what I expected. I felt that GRC would run the table in the state of Kentucky. The only losses I saw would be when they faced competition from outside the borders. Daniels, Stenzel, Purvis, and Rogers have been part of the team it seems like forever. Then they add Zollo his sophomore year. This team has played together longer than some colleges play together. I am NOT saying they are not a great team. I am saying that for them to exceed expectations means maybe the expectations were too low.

Is there anywhere you can find stats for GRC? How many rebounds does Zollo and Stenzel average per game?

I sure didn't think we would run the table in the state. No team in the state has done that this year even your #1 and #2 ranked teams. See my posts during pre-season and I said we would take some lumps. Are my expectations too low, sure don't think so with the Brutal schedule we have played. 24-5 is very good against the competition we have played. I think we have had a great regular season this year.

Agree, but the award was voted on before the post season.

I remeber Rogers when he played at Fleming County when he was in Junior high school when we played against them he looked like a full grown man then, but deming and the King boys were able to overcome his size and won that game.
