January 29, 201115 yr AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even stand his play calling in the Senior Bowl. He has got to go, and Alexander's group of 1st Rd. picks look average.
January 30, 201115 yr Bratkowski is just horrible, hopefully this is another wake up call to Mike Brown to make a change. Even though the whole Palmer wanting to be traded should have been enough.
January 30, 201115 yr Author Mike Brown will only wake up when Brat is owed $0. He's gotten rid of other coaches under contract.
January 31, 201115 yr Like who? I could be wrong but I believe Dick Lebeau was, I believe Bruce Coslet was, Kenny Anderson, Leslie Frazier, and also Chuck Breshanan too I believe. So that is two guys during Marvin's time they have gotten rid of before their contract was up, so they could try to improve the defense. So I don't see Bratkowski being under contract for the reason why they wouldn't. I have heard before that Mike Brown is good friends with Bratkowski, and I think that is the main reason for it.

Hobson reported today that Lewis is still looking to make changes in the offensive staff and that it just wasn't going to happen this week with them being busy coaching. Something is going to change offensively, hopefully large and sweeping!

I don't think it was coincidence, that three days after Palmer told Mike Brown that he wanted to be traded that they talked to Childress. Mike Brown was fully content on sticking to the same coaches as last year, and that is why we let all these other teams make moves. It was once Palmer asked to be traded, that they started to seriously look some IMO.

With saying that, I believe that Lewis wanted the change, but that nothing was legitimately being considered until Palmer made the move that he did.

January 31, 201115 yr Author Palmer has always been very complimentary of the coaches, much to my dismay; even as laste as the SD game, he said what a great game plan they had; I wanted to scream!!!!! I truly believe he is fed up with the fans and the media, the garbage being strewn across his lawn and him taking 100% of the blame for the team's flaws. He has said how the criticism has affected his family which in turn has affected him; as far as the coaches, he believes it's his job to execute no matter what play is called.

I don't even know where to start with this. Is that the brutal Cincinnati media you are referring to or the fans that have supported him all the way even for most part of this year? Oh poor Carson, he sucks and the fans aren't happy about it.
January 31, 201115 yr The guy on channel 9 news Sunday morning was giving the coaches a going over. He said they can't even coach college all stars and score any points.

You can keep saying it all you want; it still doesn't change the fact that if Carson sucks, then..... the o-line sucks, the WR's suck, the RB's suck, the special teams suck, and the defense sucks! It makes a whole lot of sense doesn't it!
