Saint Patrick 82 Augusta 69

Featured Replies

I have to admit to being a little surprised by this one. Congrats to the Saints, and what's happened to the Panthers?

Isn't this the second time St.Pat has beaten Augusta? I've been very surprised both times.

Yeah they have won at Saint Patrick and tonight at Augusta.

shocker!!

The panthers are in total "melt-down" mode. They've gone from my "darkhorse" 10th region Cinderella to a 3 legged, blind horse.

These losses to St.Pat, along with how the season has gone up to now with the expectations have got to be hard for Assistant Coach Hinson to swallow

I also heard Hinson grabbed one of the St. Pat players in the freshman game and pulled him by his arm pretty physically. The losses might be going to his head.

It`s called separating players when they get a little hot headed or needing settled down nothing more nothing less.

Usually coaches focus on grabbing their own players not the other teams?

As far as Hinson goes he was 2 and 0 last night with wins in Freshman and JV maybe if he had more control over Varsity the team may not be in such termoil. Could there be some conflict with the coaching staff ? As far as grabbing the player if the St. Pat coach would control the hot head maybe there wouldn't have been a problem in front of the Augusta bench. All the Augusta player was trying to do was help him up after a foul.

Welcome back, Ryan Gallenstein!!!

I like the rivalry flavor on this thread.............maybe it'll help both programs in the future if it carries over to the players.

Congrats to St. Pat on the nice win! IMO, St. Pat plays harder than ANY team in the 10th, just not a lot of talent, but the most heart!

I agree 100%. He has grown attached to all the players that were on the floor that night and doesn't want anyone to get out of hand.
