Storage Wars

Anybody like watching this show I think it is pretty cool some of the stuff they find. I have been thinking about seeing if any storage places around here have auctions and give it a go.

I like the show, but I read somewhere that they show on TV one storage unit for every 10-15 they actually get at auction.

I believe that I am sure there are some nasty units but also sure you can find some pretty good stuff to.

Almost 10% of all storage units in the USA are in California

Much of the stuff at one of the local auctions I frequent comes from storage units in and around Cincy.

I do like the show. A bit formulaic, but aren't most of these shows (Auction Kings, Pawn Stars, etc.)?

 

And guys, what's the verdict on Jarred's wife (Brandy?). Does the hotness factor outweigh the witch factor?

I like Storage Wars but, I love the show Pickers. Makes me want to put on my Fred Sanford suspenders, grab my flashlight and head out to the nearest old barn.

I have not watched yet, but one of my friends really likes it and talks about it.

I think I'd let her call the shots at the business so that I could call the shots in the bedroom, if you catch my drift

Pickers is more realistic to me than Storage Wars. I've been around some old barns and buildings locally and have seen some old store signs or gasoline and oil signs that I didn't know would be worth much but seem to be.

I've watched it a few times and like it. The guy with the glasses and short hair really gets on my nerves with how he drives up the price on the small time bidders just out of spite. I know of a guy who's gotten a SUV with 20k or so miles on it out of one and he's done quite well locally.
