A locker full of artwork. Appraised at 300K. Of course, some of those "appraisals" are shady as well.

 

All of those prices are way inflated (but it is California). Hester: four barstools; a thousand dollars. Not at the auctions I frequent.

I believe that I am sure there are some nasty units but also sure you can find some pretty good stuff to.

 

From my limited experience; the most commonly found items in storage bins:

 

Obsolete electronics; especially clunky TVs

Bags and bags of unlaundered clothes

Christmas decorations

Baby and childrens' toys

CDs, records and cassettes

Furniture in poor condition

Personal papers

Bedding, curtains and towels
