February 13, 201115 yr I was talking with a friend of mine the other day who knows a lot more about ND then I do and he was telling me he has heard that Hendrix and Golson (the freshman) are the early favorites for the starting job. Golson is a one of the kind athlete but i doubt he wins the job as a frosh. Hendrix is unproven, but Kelly has talked about his big arm, so maybe he has what it takes.
