24, 10 in the 1st Qtr...box score in a moment.

Box score, starters listed first:

Beechwood (7-7) - 13 6 20 19 - 58

Holy Cross (9-6) - 19 18 19 31 - 87

Beechwood - Nussbaum 1-6 0-2 2, Cruse 8-13 3-4 19, Maus 1-4 0-0 3, Fangman 7-20 7-7 21, McKenzie 1-2 2-2 4, Prewitt 0-2 0-0 0, Brennan 1-2 0-0 2, Estrella 1-2 0-0 3, Erdman 1-6 2-4 4, Totals 21-57 14-19 58.

Holy Cross - Burger 10-20 3-6 23, Avery 1-2 2-2 4, Arlinghaus 4-9 0-0 10, McClendon 3-12 1-2 8, Fuller 1-3 3-6 5, Allen 3-7 2-2 8, Broering 1-5 1-4 3, Thompson 1-1 0-0 3, Fortner 1-1 0-0 3, Beal 0-1 0-0 0, Walker 2-2 0-0 4, Knochelman 2-2 7-8 11, Schuler 2-2 0-0 5, Totals 31-67 19-30 87.

Notes: If my research is correct, this is the first time since the 1998-99 season (Clay Eifert's last year as Head Coach) that HC scored 80+ points in consecutive games and 70+ points in three consecutive games since the 2007-08 season. HC forced 24 turnovers and converted them into 34 points. Jake Burger led the Indians in rebounding with nine and added four assists and three steals. Jerry Arlinghaus had eight rebounds, Jalen Avery had nine assists and Travis Thompson had four steals. Tyler Fangman led the Tigers with 14 rebounds in outrebounding HC 41-39. Corey Cruse had nine rebounds and Max Nussbaum had four assists. Lloyd defeated Bellevue by around 20 points, so the first Semifinal on Friday will be Holy Cross vs Lloyd.

Congrats to the Indians. Not real surprised though, Beechwood has been drubbed pretty much anytime they've played a non division III opponent this year.

That was the game. Beechwood just could not break their pressure and when they did they took a shot out of control. It seemed like anytime Beechwood would start to chip into the lead they would turn it over and give up a layup. The Tigers start three Sophomores, that youth showed last night for sure.

Great game by HC good luck against Lloyd.

Looking at the prediction thread I bet this is a surprise to many. I thought HC would win, but not by this much.

IMO HC is a little underrated in the region and come district time they could do some damage.

Was a little surprised by the score but really surprised by the lack of attendence. Nobody was there. HC had maybe 15 students and didn't see any Beechwood students that were not cheerleaders.

Charging $6 for adults to get in have anything to do with the lack of attendence this week at NCC ?
