Thoughts and Feelings about Islam and Muslims

Featured Replies

I am curious to know how some feel. This is my opinion from what i have seen and heard.

When a Muslim gets killed or criticized it is considered a hate crime but if a Muslim kills someone if was religiously right.

If Christians went and killed Muslims we are the devil, but like in other countries if Muslims kill Christians then it was religiously right.

If Muslims complain about the celebration of Christmas then all must be done to prevent the celebration, but Muslims still want to celebrate their things and are allowed.

Muslims want to be tried by Islam law in America and do away with our laws.

Muslims want ot build a mosque in NY by the WTC. Unbelievable.

Islam teaches love and tolerance, but those who practice it never criticize those who strap on bombs and kill innocent lives.

You can convert from Christianity to Islam and be fine, but the death penalty awaits you if you convert from Islam to Christianity.

In my honest opinion and I know most will disagree, but most every Muslim wants to have all Christians die and turn the US into a Muslim country. These so called organizations for tolerance and help are only cover ups for their real goal of taking over America. Heck we already are not allowed to practice many Christian beliefs due to political correctness and being biased to Muslims. If you ask me the Christians are the ones being discriminated against. Look up the info yourself.

Plus the information is from a Muslim based website, not just something from Fox news.

Michael Savage, welcome to the board. :thumb: :D

There is so much wrong with the first post I don't know where to begin.

What a loaded thread.

CH………you need to view a movie called "The Hurt Locker".

The OP obviously doesn't personally know anyone of the Islamic faith.

I'm with you.

I know quite a few Muslims. Every last one of them is a loyal American. They are very fine people that are very upset that just as they, as a group, were beginning to be accepted into the broader American community, a few extremists have caused them all to be lumped into the terrorist camp. It is wrong.

I work with a lot of Muslims. It amazes me the misconceptions about them, their intentions, and what following their faith means.

It also somewhat causes me to chuckle from time to time. Most of the time, when people make assumptions about Muslim's it's based on their outward appearance. Wouldn't many be surprised to know the beautiful dark haired girl with the gorgeous blue eyes is actually a Muslim....from Bonsia? Wouldn't it be a surprise that the same girl goes to clubs andhangs out with non-Muslims as regularly as any other young girl.

If Christians went and killed Muslims we are the devil, but like in other countries if Muslims kill Christians then it was religiously right. Is this not vice-versa for Christians in this country?

If Muslims complain about the celebration of Christmas then all must be done to prevent the celebration, but Muslims still want to celebrate their things and are allowed. I won't argue here either. I think people are too sensitive when it comes to celebrating holidays. As long as it isn't pushed on you, why complain no matter which side of this argument you all on?

Muslims want to be tried by Islam law in America and do away with our laws. The Islamic people I know do not feel this way. If they did, I would tell them to get over it though.

Muslims want ot build a mosque in NY by the WTC. Unbelievable. The Religious center is a few blocks away from the WTC. It's not right on the grounds. There is already a mosque there. I do think that putting the center there is perhaps a little incentive, or it could have been handled in a better way. It could have been something that brought American's together and educated them about each others religions.

Islam teaches love and tolerance, but those who practice it never criticize those who strap on bombs and kill innocent lives. The followers of Islam that I know do not support these acts, and say they are a clear violation of Islamic teachings.

You can convert from Christianity to Islam and be fine, but the death penalty awaits you if you convert from Islam to Christianity. Where? In Iraq or something?

In my honest opinion and I know most will disagree, but most every Muslim wants to have all Christians die and turn the US into a Muslim country. Heck we already are not allowed to practice many Christian beliefs due to political correctness and being biased to Muslims. If you ask me the Christians are the ones being discriminated against. Look up the info yourself. I don't buy this. I do believe that Muslims want others to convert to their religion, just as Christians do. So sure they want a Islamic America, but Christians want a Christian America. How many times have we heard that?

I would urge anyone to actually read the Qu'ran before they make a judgement. I have read it, and to be honest some of the teachings in there do scare me a little bit. But I am not well-versed in Islam, perhaps the parts I am speaking about are akin to the Old Testament in the Bible and are not parts of every day Islamic life.

Believe what you may, but if you research further you may be shocked. AND PLEASE it isn't jut a FEW Muslims doing this. Lots of respect, just like when Chris Jackson changed to Islam and wouldn't stand up for the National Anthem.

Best thing about America is i get to believe what I want. But the truth is we Christians don't stone women to death, cut off heads, blow each other up, for the sake of Islam. We dont kill if someone says something about Muhammad.
