January 6, 201115 yr I hope Xavier wins, but don't see it happening. Xavier doesn't have enough people and UC has more strength which will be the main factor. I believe UC wins by ten, maybe more.
January 6, 201115 yr Would be shocked if it is anything but 90-10 UC fans... Are there normally 1300 X fans there? How many tickets were allotted to X? 100?
January 6, 201115 yr Author Are there normally 1300 X fans there? How many tickets were allotted to X? 100? Two years ago there was probably 3K fans from X there and most of them were in the corner baseline bleacher seats that were sold within 48 hours of the game. Not sure on exact allotment numbers, but 100 sounds about right...

January 6, 201115 yr Author 3k? That's nuts. How does UC let X buy up 3k tickets to their place? UC was bad, so the students didn't show and X fans bought what they left available...
January 6, 201115 yr Author White throwbacks for UC tonight. Dayton is still licking their wounds from the debut...
January 6, 201115 yr I like watching the celebrity cameo shots from the seats near the court. Oscar is a staple. Over the years, there have been the occasional Anthony Munoz, Chris Collinsworth and Jeff Ruby isolites. Maybe a Pete Rose or Boomer Esiason sighting.??

January 6, 201115 yr Someone in the gym tonight lost a national title to the original version of those unis... Is Bobby K calling the game?
January 6, 201115 yr Well, Xavier has struggled & UC has looked pretty solid. So I'm taking XU in a nail-biter. On a side note, the Crosstown Shootout is one of the most underrated games on a national level. Regardless of the talent involved, the games are fiercely played & often result in some down-to-the-wire moments.
