No disrespect meant, but you obviously haven't seen Christian Co if you really think they aren't a top 10 team. They returned 4 starters from last years' team that lost to Scott Co in the Elite 8.

 

Anthony Hickey, Donovan Kates, and Lewis are all three D1 prospects and Tandy is one of the best overall athletes in the state. They started the season slow last season as well due to a deep playoff run in football. You also failed to recognize the competition they've played against. I'd take Christian Co as the best team in the Western part of the state and feel very confident.

 

Ask anyone who played for state champ, Shelby Valley, last year if CC is for real or not. Anthony Hickey was every bit as good as Elijah Justice last year....as a JUNIOR.

I have nothing against Christian Co. for sure. I hope they make it to the final eight or final four. It will make those out of state losses look better/ high ranking.

As I do when this is brought up for football, you give me a chance, I'll put together a schedule that will have a team undefeated come this time. Give me one that doesn't have to play in a seed district and I just might get you a schedule to make you undefeated at the end. They can be #1 in your poll and the only undefeated team ever to lose in the first round of district.

 

I can take a couple losses in the first ten or eleven games. But six!! I don't think so. They have the talent. Now they have to prove. Sounds like in time they will. Just not yet.
