Really? Should you really believe that then imo you are one of the ones that their hatred of OSU is so great that they have no idea of reality and what it would ake to even be considered for the "death" penalty. I get that you hate OSU but I would hope that you are kidding about any school getting that kind o penalty. I cannot stand Louisville, Florida, Michigan (under RR) or Tenessee but I would never hope they recieve a penalty that severe no mater what the charges should be against them and/or how many or if proven. A complete "death penalty" over in most cases what some high profile alumni cause is ridiculous. Although most (including OSU) do a good job controlling these alumni they cannot stop all no matter who you are or what school. This has and no doubt will continue to go on at practically every program. I don't condone breaking rules even if theey are like most the NCAA has, being just stupid but so is slapping a death penalty on anyone for something a few were involved in to penalize by taking away an entire program and all there whether al kids were involved or not. That thinking is imo pahetic.

Selling their own property (shirts,awars,trophys,etc.) and driving a loaner car although are violations,they are certainly not even in the same world that would merit a death penalty. As C. Carter would say......C'mon man.

Oh wait!! We are talking about OSU, that explains everything. There are sooooo many on here that post w/o personal dislike for the Buckeyes :sssh:. I must be crazy to think all of the negative post are not motivated by personal dislike. :ohbrother: What was I thinking? :lol:

What is the deal with Pryor and Kirk H.?

I can't help but wonder that if these and/or other charges were on any other school if these would be posted so quickly or at all.

I am in no way defending Ohio State players for breaking the rules be a rule seems stupid or not. They should pay any penalty handed to them, no exeptions.

One example of what I am talking about is the U.K. qb M. Hartline being suspended by his coach for the bowl game (the name of the bowl was so lame and insignificant) that I can't remember without looking. Although this was an in house issue and not NCAA imposedthere were some on here that were defending Hartline for breaking team rules and an alleged beating of a female stugent. Should someone blast one then blast others as well.

 

I am an SEC fan myself but the more I read alot of the "elite SEC., no one else even matters" kind of post/threads the more I dislike the SEC. Not really, I just get tired of the same people jumping on any post/thread that might even hint that there are other teams, other confrences that deserve recognition for someting.

I don't consider that a big problem, liking the SEC as well as OSU. I call it being a college football fan. Boise, TCU, Texas, Ok. State amoung others I like and like wtching them play, doesn't mean I am any less of a Buckeye or a U.K./SEC fan.:idunno:

To add to your Hartline example, you blasted Hartline pretty hard for his actions yet I don't sense the same from you on Pryor.

Surely you're not saying Kentucky is an elite SEC School?

 

Anyway, you're comparing apples & oranges with Pryor & Hartline. Pryor broke NCAA rules, while Hartline ran afoul of the law. Big difference.
