Thanks for the info, because this was the first time I'd heard about this Manual to trinity transfer, and I wasn't sure how it was handled. Strange that he was good enough for trinity's varsity, but not for Manual. It seems like most of the time the transfers are from private to public instead of the other way around. :thumb:

Well OX, I don't think he spent that much time at Manual to prove himself. I think Trinity molded him into player who could potentially play varsity. T and X are good at taking an average kid and turning them into something special.

Possibly... I wouldn't think it would be for academics, but it could be for religion or discipline. It really matters little, since I am a firm believer in freedom of education choice for whatever reason.

If he's from Jeffersontown (J-town), he's most definitely a Jefferson Co boy, and one of many Trinity boys who live in the J-Town area.

I think you've missed the point again-the young man could not have attended Manual in the first place if he lived in Indiana, Oldham County or anywhere else other than Jefferson County, Kentucky. Moot point since obviously he is progressing in Fball to a level that sees the field in Varsity games while meeting the academic standards successfully at T, he & his family made the right choice in transferring.

If you're going to offer such sarcastic comments, please do some research and get your facts correct if you want to establish any validity. The number of boys at both St. X. and trinity is 1400, not 1500 to 2000. Plus, for whatever reason, we can't seem to find 5 decent athletes for basketball or 9 decent athletes for baseball. Can you help me with that one? :irked:

Or from private to private, some names come to mind. FYI, a Trinity sophmore transfered to Manual later that same week. So I guess you could call it a trade. :lol:
