Even though Campbell Co. recently beat Boone Co. and they both have records of 5-1, Boone Co. has had a tougher schedule thus far. That's just my guess. I don't think Campbell got a shabby shake being ranked 5th.

The one I don't fully understand is Ryle. They defeated a now 8th ranked Conner and lost to GRC and they move from 7th to 4th.:idunno:

Maybe they were taking into consideration what Conner was ranked when they beat them. Just a guess.

Some choose not to take part in it from what I understand, for the simple fact that things change from night to night and it's too tough to rank teams this early in the season.

 

By mid Jan, I think you'll see more coaches voting.

I believe the Enquirer sends out a ballot to every coach in nky. It's up to them to send it back.

All coaches in Northern Kentucky should have access to the website v2.sidstats.com and there is a link through their logon to vote in the coaches poll. Even as the SID for Holy Cross, I have access to vote in the coaches poll, but since I am not a coach, I choose not to.

How is Scott ranked higher than Holy Cross when Holy Cross just beat them? Also how is Highlands that high?

Agreed. Holmes is still somewhat of an unknown since most of their games have been against out of area competition, save for the few DII schools they played.
