I rarely promote our own players BUT I think Nate Verst who made an impact on the hardwood this past basketball season will crack Brossart's lineup at some point this season, if not from the outset, and make a major contribution to the baseball Mustangs as well. Played for Midland last summer.

Colin Smith, Louis Bergouis and Hunter Dunn are 3 that come to mind. Berqouis is out for the season though.

Yes he does. They should have a very good 15U team. I don't know the whole roster but I know some.

The top freshman, IMO, in NKY is Suchanek from BW. Kid is an absolute nice ball player and he can do it all. Outfield, Infield and pitch.

I don't know all of the frosh in NKY but he is going to be a good one. Schreiver has to be in the conversation simply because of his stroke.

Starting at second and batting #5 on a 30 win baseball team as a freshman tells you all you need to know about Suchanek.

I'm curious how you can say he is the top freshman in NKY..Have you been to all the Frosh, Jv, and Varsity games to watch all the freshman. Yes, he is a pretty good freshman, but there are alot others out there that play at schools where they may not get a chance to play varsity as an 8th grader or as an freshman...
