We have not got any ice at all, which is good. But they were off with it. But if the temp had dropped a couple of degrees then it could have been bad.

December 16, 201015 yr ^ Looks to be a little less than what he had before. He hasn't put up another map, but did show the newest NAM model and it shows NKY as looking like it could be in the 6-8 inch area. BTW I'm supposed to be studying for an exam that I have at 10 am at NKU and just can't bring myself to do it, based on the forecast it seems pointless to.

December 16, 201015 yr .... and yet the national weather service in wilmington dropped their predictions to 3-5 inches. Did that about half an hour before Bailey updated this..... Who knows.

December 16, 201015 yr Author The freezing rain and ice is moving faster than everyone anticipated. We have had freezing rain here in Richmond since before 2am. It took me twice the amount of time it usually does to get to work. The roads are ice covered and very hazardous here. I know of no power outages but I did see a KU truck out already.
December 16, 201015 yr Really don't know how more schools in NKY haven't been cancelled yet. I expect more to be announced by 6 am.
