December 13, 201015 yr That is where you are wrong, on 2 different accounts. I believe Chad cares more about money than winning and Mike Brown DOES want to win. He is just stubborn and wants to do it HIS way. Chad has it great here. He had a pretty good QB for a long time and he gets paid a lot of money. The media here walks on egg shells, imagine him in NY or some big market he would really be crying then. I don't blame Chad for caring more about money. He plays for a joke of an organization and they wouldn't let him leave. If Mike Brown really cared about winning he would have changed. I think he would like to win, but not if he has to pay for improving things. Therefore he doesn't really "want" to win.
December 13, 201015 yr Rivers is invisible on the field so he should stay invisible off of it as well. Yeah he's just too soft but he is one the character guys.
December 13, 201015 yr How did the Bengals beat the Ravens? I think its a wasted win for that top draft pcik.

December 13, 201015 yr Are you kidding?YES! I agree! I feel bad for ANY player who has been with this organization for more than a couple of years! People want to point fingers on what is wrong, you only have to look at Marvin and most of the coaches, and Mikey to see it's a horrible club!

December 13, 201015 yr I love it. I would love to see every single individual (meaning guys who worry more about what they look like then their team) player they have brought in be gone. Mike Brown is a fool but he isn't going anywhere. Look at Dallas. They basically said you are playing for a job and that team has turned up their intensity.

As long as Brown keeps making money - and he does, thanks to the subsidies thrown his way by the county - winning is not the biggest concern to him. Truly the only way it becomes the top priority and he would consider hiring a GM would be if the day ever arrives that his pocketbook is affected.

Been saying that for a while, no accountability.

I'm going to hit the lottery one day and pay for a GM for him...
December 13, 201015 yr Chad has been here too long. I feel bad for him, but this is a league where you need to practice in the summer. If he as a person is only concerned about his pocketbook what can he say about Mike Brown? I really wish the Bengals would have dealt him to Washington. He would have been worse. We saw how well it went for TJ in Seattle. It seems that when Carson and Chad were the best was when they studying Harrison/Manning and practiced all summer together. Chad has wanted no part of the Bengals the past few summers. I think there is something there. Artrell Hawkins pointed out that at the Patriots, everyone is at the OTA's. They don't have people off doing their own things.
