From the KHSAA scoreboard. Don't know much about Conner this year, but I do know victories over Conner have been extremely scarce for the Lady Crusaders in the last several years.

The Lady Crusaders came ready to play last night. Congratulations. Sounds like Conner and Coach Stamm are in the rebuilding mode this year.

I definately though Conner would be better this season. Do they have players injured? last year I know they liked to shoot the 3!

St. Henry has a very nice team led by Taylor Gamm & Abby Janzen, they will suprise a lot of people this year. As for Conner, that program needs rebuilt from the ground up. Coach Stamm has a lot of work ahead of him but I am confident in the next two years he will have it where he needs it. He inherited a program with injuries and transfers taking it's toll on the team. Good luck to both teams for the rest of the season.

Coach Stamm will get the girls too play hard. They should get things turned around and be competitive. 2 former Ludlow coaches faced each other last night with Coach Stamm at Conner and Coach Clarey as the varsity assistant at St. Henry.

Let's be fair to Coach Stamm and Conner. They're without 3 varsity players due to injury. His offense will work with a full and healthy team. It's a fun style of play that will attract girls to the program.

Let's be honest and say that Conner lost many varsity players the past 2 years and still had a winning season.

Dawn Peacock played last year, but she is the only one of the aforementioned that actually made an impact on the team last season.

Well while were being so honest let me just say Conner don't have one player outside of Toria Fisher that could even start on any other team in the 9th region, Lets face it Coach Stamm did not get the most talented players to work with. To blame coach Stamm would be completely unfair in every aspect. It will probably be a couple years before they compete again. Hopefully their middle school has some quality players coming soon.

Conner MS indeed has some nice players coming along, especially 7th grade . . .

Conner has a very nice group of sophmores and i dont think you are being fair saying they do not have players that could start in other programs. Coach Stamm does have his work cut out but these girls work hard and will get better. As many as 4 sophmores are playing a lot and will gain key varsity experience. They also have been playing for many years together winning several chamnpionships. Their JV is 3/1 and their best player was in foul trouble most of the game they lost. I am sure they have players who could start for other teams in region 9 and they will start to win some games.
