2011 Highlands Bluebirds

Highlands will win their games against 4A opponents by an average of 33 points a game next year. Go ahead and tell Riherds to fire up the engraver
We have them on speed dial.

I would think that Jalen Hayes would be a key in both kickoff and punt returns.

Most people are not going to like this, but my guess is he is going to do his thing on the Defensive side of the ball. JMO

Safety?

Well, our annual Christmas visitor was a little late to the party this year, but he's still celebrating the big 4-peat!

I was wondering where he was. Hopefully that green light you shine on him at night has finally burnt out and you have replaced it with a blue one.:D

We don't have a green light. It's just the light coming from the spiral pseudo-trees.

Where will McCoy fit in?

Where will McCoy fit in?

Great question. He's such a talent that you'd love to see the ball in his hands. I know a couple years ago the backup QB was the starting safety.

Where will McCoy fit in?

I hope he will play running back or receiver. The possibilities would be endless. Maybe they could play a two headed quarterback. McCoy and Towles next to each other in the backfield. Both can run and pass, one is right handed and one is left handed. Would drive the defense crazy.

He is a hitter. So yeah, maybe safety or weak side CB? LOL

That would be mean. :D

Any of the birdies have a roster from this years Freshmen team that will be sophomores next year?

Quillen will anchor the defense and I did not include him. Thanks 75. New, Quillen, Dressman, Bowden, Drake n Devin Bruns are going to be strong on Defense. I look for soph LB Reid Schroeder to fill a spot and possibly Connor Poston. Sam Chambers also played a bunch at LB. Offensively they will have several targets for Towles. Christian (18 TDs for JV I believe), Sheehan the Vet, Jac Collinsworth, Baeu Mcghee and Luke Turner. The line spots should be up for grabs imo. Schweitzer who will be a soph is a beast, Trapp improved as a starter this year and Robinson has experience. Others could be Schultz, Whitford, Waldenmayer, Meyer. In the backfield ID look for Jake True and D. McCoy to see a lot of carries and the speedy Colin Seidl also.

I think Mitchell Dee will lock up one of the line spots.
