November 29, 201015 yr Big time baseball program and the hoops team will make a nice jump once in a power conference. More than enough hoops talent in Texas to go around... It will be interesting to see what impact this has on the basketball program. Clearly it was a football decision, and understandably so. I'm hesitant to jump on board the TCU basketball program...

The Bulls are 1-1 against Horned Frogs. 13-10 loss at RayJay in 2003 and a 45-44 double over time win at TCU in 2004. UCF would be/is a natural rival (Bulls are 4-0 against the Knights). A guaranteed sellout every game. I "dislike" UCF as a Bulls fan the way I "dislike" Louisville as a Kentucky fan. I'd love it.
November 30, 201015 yr Look at it from another bright side, at least the Big East will have a team that has proven itself BCS capable over the past few seasons. With TCU coming over, imagine how tough the Big East may be if Rodriguez was still at West Virginia, Petrino was still at Louisville, and Kelly was still at Cincinnati. With these teams in mind, I believe that Louisville will only get better if Strong does not take a position somewhere else in the future.

BTW, Big East members Marquette and De Paul are also in the central time zone.

The new Big 10 has 12 teams The new Big 12 has 10 teams The new Pac 10 has 12 teams Makes a lot of sense...
