Sounds like Fischer is about done with his act--Let him go, you know Mikey Boy will pick him up as his latest reclamation project.

Well, VY is Bud's boy and what I'm afraid of is Adams will let go of Fisher instead. I tell you this much, if they keep Young and get rid of Jeff, I will have to find myself another team.

My oldest best friend lives in Nashville, has season tickets and has been taking up for VY for the last 5 years. Today he said he is done with him.

Blaine Bishop was talking about VY last week about how he doesn't know how to play hurt. Bishop said at this point in the season that nobody is healthy and there are differing degrees of injuries. Young can't tell the difference between a minor ache and a major injury, according to Bishop. Basically, he is soft.

He would look good in a Bengals uniform.

Stick a fork in him. He's done in Tenn IMO. I think Fischer has been patient with him but I think he's worn out his welcome.

The more I think about it I mean seriously! You are a QB and a face for your NFL team. You throw your pads in the stands and go home throwing a temper tantrum. You really expect people to follow you as a leader. Reminds me of a 6th grader! Pathetic!

You can rip on Brett Favre all you want but unless he is bleeding from the eyeballs, he doesn't beg out of the game like Young did.

 

However, I think the fans frustrations in booing in the first quarter were more frustration at not throwing to Moss rather than Young throwing incompletions.

I agree, Scribe. I mean, Washington had a great game, but why sign Moss if they aren't going to throw to him? He did allow several other catches to be made just by being out there and getting attention from the D.

Part of the problem was Deangelo Hall shutting Moss down. Of course, the fans want it thrown his way regardless. But when Smith came in and started targeting Moss, Hall almost had two picks so I think the fan reaction was ridiculous.

If they keep Young and get rid of Fischer they are crazier than VY!

Fisher and Young have never seen eye-to-eye. Fisher has played him, pretty successfully, despite having many negatives to his game. He was waiting for Vince to give him a reason to toss him a side, and the instability of Young delivered.

I feel confident about one thing...Vince Young or Jeff Fisher won't be a Titan next season. I don't see how there could be an easier decision in the NFL.

 

It's time to move on. If you're set on a dual-threat QB, draft Cam Newton. At $180,000 he'd be much cheaper than Vince.

He would look good in a Bengals uniform.

 

If he is not in Tenn, then he is a Bengal or a Raider next year.
