November 28, 201015 yr No need to close this thread. Last week's was a terrible call. He got his money's worth again this week.
November 29, 201015 yr Author Yep, fine coming. I just hope he doesn't get the seatbelt for next week's game. Wouldn't be surprised.
November 29, 201015 yr I didn't see it but heard them say he might be suspended for this one. It would be to bad to not see Balt and Pitt full force next week.
November 29, 201015 yr This just in, the league is moving to two hand touch next year... You CANNOT put 2 hands on the player!!!
November 29, 201015 yr How about flag football? But you can only reach for the flag with "1" hand.
November 29, 201015 yr This just in, the league is moving to two hand touch next year... The rule allows you to hit people, you just can't lead with your head. http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2010/11/29/james-harrison-nothing-wrong-about-hit-on-ryan-fitzpatrick/

Was it a hard hit? yes Did he lead with the crown of the helmet? Maybe
November 29, 201015 yr I know, but I don't think that was a dirty hit. Was it a hard hit? yes Did he lead with the crown of the helmet? Maybe I agree that it was not a dirty hit; however, the NFL has repeatedly stated that they are no longer going to tolerate vicious hits like that. Until Harrison changes, he deserves any fines and/or suspensions that come his way. The same goes with any repeat offender in the NFL. A few of the hits that have warranted fines throughout the league are so-so. They're vicious hits, but I'm not sure what can be done to prevent them other than this hard-lined approach. Harrison has given himself the reputation and now it is going to follow him everywhere. It's one thing to make the plays on the field, but Harrison has made matters worse by lashing out in the media. The rules are the rules.
November 29, 201015 yr I think it's been discussed on here, but these guys won't change until they are missing games. I'm kind of surprised no one has gone low on Harrison to give him something else to consider.
