I was told he is interested in coming to Madison Southern. He still ives in Madison Co. I believe. This was told to me by someone who is close to him. If he did win here he would probably leave for another job.

 

I am hearing Coach Rain's named mentioned with Pikeville College. Wanting to ask another Mountain Coach to come as a package. Not going to mention the other Coach for obvious reasons.

I'll add another place. Look for Coach Rains to be in Georgia next year or possible wait until 2012.

Why would someone "retire" a week before the season starts? Looks like a bad way to do the kids if "retired" is correct. Something dont smell right about this, smells like a shunk or maybe a cooperhead.

Knute is right. If they give you a chance to resign before they fire you. It is not retired it's fired. It was off field reasons.

I thought he was resigning because he wanted to take a year off....why was he forced out?
