Pull away is an understatement. They dominated the third quarter and the beginning of the fourth. Big game Friday against the Indians for the Regional title.

Coach Eviston either has great half time speeches or is very good at making adjustments - probably both. Who will challenge the Breds in 2A? I have been saying all year that this is one of the best NCC teams I have seen and they keep proving me right.

Anyone know how the CAL kid is that they took off the field, it didn't look good?

From what I've been hearing, the team to likely challenge them will be Murray or Owensboro Catholic, which I believe plays each other next week.

I spoke with one of the coaches after the game and he said that all signs pointed to it simply being a "better safe than sorry" trip to the hospital and that the young man was going to be fine.

 

Unfortunately for the young man trying to make the tackle, he stayed too high on probably one of the hardest running backs in nky and took one under the chin.

 

Good to know that he's ok though.

 

As for the game, this was the Brady Hightchew show. Kid was unreal and single handedly carried the Breds, coming up with big play after big play on 3rd and long and 4th in short in key situations.

 

On to Holy Cross.
