Randy Moss Released by the Vikings

Good fit for him, a good solid head coach that has control of his team.

If he gives Fisher any crap, he will get cut loose before he can say "When you're rich you don't write checks."

Moss has done well with authoritative type coaches (i.e. Dennis Green, Bill Belichick). He has struggled with upper management and coaches that have 0 credibility. Fisher is about as respected of a coach you will find.

This is a very unconventional type move for the Titans, but I think it was worth rolling the dice. They are only as good as their running game and Johnson is being held well below last season's production. Hopefully this will take another guy out of the box and make for one heck of a WR tandem with Britt on the other side of the field. Titans are off this week so it gives Randy an extra week to prepare. Oddly enough, the Nashville, Tennessee country culture may fit Randy well.

^ Britt is going to be out this week at least with the Hammy problem.

Watch Johnson's stats go up! I love this move, it shows they are committed to winning this year.

I like it.

The Titans are quickly becoming my second favorite NFL team and with the Cowboys struggles, will be nice to see the Titans make a run.

Hish risk, high reward...

Honestly how could you not like adding Randy Moss to your football team? He's a bit past his prime & he's a head case, but now he has something to prove. He'll be great in TEN.

Replace TEN with MIN about a month ago and this same post would hold true. I am very cautiously optimistic.

Main difference is Tennessee doesn't have an inept moron on the sidelines....Tennessee will be much improved from this, regardless of what Nate Washington says.

There is a world of difference between Jeff Fisher and Brad Childress.

What did he say? I tried to find it but it is blocking the roto article from my work?

He said that they don't need him. They're a team with a lot of young talented guys, not individuals, but a team. Doesn't know how he fits in with the young receivers they have.
