I over heard Chris Kelly's father say is son is in the hospital with an elbow infection and is doubtful for the next couple of weeks. Whatever it is it must be serious if the young man is in the hospital. Shame he might miss the Beechwood game and maybe the first round or two in the playoffs

Where's the Beef? With the exception of Flannery, I don't think the rest of the big guys are ready for primetime! If so, why didn't they try this against Cov Cath?

Been a longtime fan of Beechwood!! Only seen them play once. But have followed them for years. I tend to do that with great teams year in and year out. This team has been the anchor of 1A football over the past 25 years. When most teams come on for a few years then fade away. Beechwood has built a program and has been in high gear ever since!! So I'm going to be pulling for BHS to pull this one out. They play the best to be the best. You have to respect that!!!

:thumb: It was a lot more fun when NCC was in the district. This game really had some meaning in those days. It is still a very good rivalry game but the edge is off with no playoff implications on the line.

As for the outcome, I look for this to be a very competitive game with Newcath's lines being the difference.

 

Breds will tote the rock all night and try to wear down the smaller Beechwood team.

As mex said, Beechwood/NCC game is also Saturday but you can still make both of them as this game is a night game. I believe game time is 7:00? at Newport Stadium.
