Not sure how long Bell County has beena school but Rockastle has been around since 1972. Thats a 13 year minus for the ROckets that they didnt have the chance to win one.

I don't want over estimate the posts on this site, but I read in the Ashland Rockcastle thread that some of the posts inspired the Rockets??? And if they did so be it. I hope some of our fans will get the message too.

I know that the Rockets lineman were carrying around with thme copies of what folks were saying about Ashland defense. About how no one runs on them. They took offense to that and showed up on Friday.

Hey maybe I can give some of the Rock linemen some motivation in exchange for some motivation from you. You know, to spice things up a little bit.

 

One thing is for sure, these 2 programs respect each other and at the sametime I believe want to win against each other more than anyone else. I think the homefield here in this situation is an advantage and I like Bell's chances in this one. And Im sure you Rock fans like your chances. Its going to be fun!

But how long has Bell County had a school? I only mentioned that because Rock has only had 34 chances to win a title counting this year. Their first year was in 1972. The post mentioned since 1959 and I was just saying that Rockets hasn't had a team yet.

This game could go either way, top notch coaches, programs, players, fans, tradition, and more its all here in this game. I have to go with the home team tonight. BELL CO. , I've been around long enough to rember when both programs were not good at all

When Larkey and Hilton came along things sure did change!!!!!! Iwould love to see Rockcastle win a state title before Larkey retires from football, but it will not be this year.

By everything i'm reading, this might be the best game in the state this weekend.
