Brossart had 455 yards of offense. 225 yards passing and 220 yards rushing. The play calling was fine. Walton won a very competitive game. Congrats to Walton. Brossart will still be a tough out in the playoffs as long as they handle their business. There were mistakes made that are correctable on both sides of the ball for both teams. Both teams have come a long way over the last couple years and I wish both programs luck in the future.

There was less than 4 minutes left in the game when they tried the fake punt. Second week in a row bad calls from the sideline cost BB the game.

It's only bad calls if the plays don't work. If you see something from the sideline that tells you the play will work then you run it. They are known for taking chances as a coaching staff sometimes things work sometimes they don't. Nobody was questioning the play calling when they were winning and they took just as many risk. Alot of things factor in to a plays success don't just blame the sidelines. Anyway congrats to Coach Barth and his staff and players they did a great job. Good luck to both staffs and teams the rest of the way.

Took a hit to the head/neck in the thrid quarter, was complaining of neck pain, taken to the ER to be checked out, appears to be OK.

Had no trouble moving his extremities or communicating with the medical staff.

Thats great news , its a bad feeling to see your son taken off out that way { been there } Walton really news to take this passing game a bit more serious and start working with their d backs , this is not the first time this year they have been picked apart at will .

Brossart had a lot of things go their way in the 1st half. Walton penalties (some iffy) kept some drives going for touchdowns, and a squib kick that bounced right off a Walton's front line on kickoff return. Walton came back the 2nd half, pitched a shut out and ran it right at Brossart. I believe Walton ended up with 442 yards on the ground Saturday night! Brossart has some nice players and is well coached. I believe Brossart will be as solid a #4 seed in the playoffs that anyone in Class A will see (assuming everyone takes care of business). Walton's style of offense can wear defenses out if properly executed.

This was the game that got away from the Mustangs. Flags and a lack of a run defense cost the 'Stangs this one. Then I thought play calling in the second half was a little iffy. But hey, its a work in progress. Coaches are learning right along side all these players. The WR's and QB for the Mustangs looked really good. They had some very nice completions.

Totally agree, Brossart played the same way in the second half against Bellevue. They seem to tighten up on play calling in the 3rd quarters, but give Bellevue and Walton credit for making adjustment at halftime. Brossart has made great strides and only look for them to get even better
