October 9, 201016 yr Since 1919, an MLB team has made 4 errors in a postseason game 3 times. The Reds have been that team, EVERY time. Go figure.
October 9, 201016 yr BTW, Marty and the Cowboy were wondering if the white towels had some effect on Bruce. Philly fans have been great in support of their team, and hopefully ours bring it Sunday night. Bruce said it was the lights, not the towels.
October 9, 201016 yr I think the reds outfielders all need to go get their eyes checked. I swear they lose more balls in the lights, sun, towels than any team Ive watched this year. I understand at some point its gonna happen but it doesnt really seem to happen to the teams we play nearly as much as it does the reds.
October 9, 201016 yr :thumb: That's if you consider Chapman's a HBP. Agreed. It wasn't a HBP and he was getting him off the plate with an 0-2 pitch. Utley sold it well.
October 9, 201016 yr Author Way too many blown calls by the umpires. Give me instant replay in baseball. Here's proof that Utley was out.
October 9, 201016 yr Author Yet another reason for instant replay. Proof that Utley wasn't hit by Chapman's pitch. Asked if the ball hit him: "I'm not sure," replied Utley. "It was close." Chapman certainly was sure, however. "I don't think at any time that the ball hit him," Chapman said through an interpreter

The sad thing is it will take a blown Phillies or Yankees game to get it most likely. The amazing thing is they have replay, they just don't use it for all the situations. There have been terrible calls in the playoffs. MLB is a joke.

It's a shame that they were hosed by the umps, but even more of a shame they played like little leaguers.
October 9, 201016 yr I refuse to post until this God awful avatar and name gets changed back. Hitler wold've been the only name more insulting.

October 9, 201016 yr I got an o/u for Reds hits at 6.5 and put a decent sum on the under last night. Those last few innings were rough for me.

You should have thought of that before you headed out to a football game last night. Just trying to change up our luck a little bit. I'm getting desperate.

Luck has had nothing to do with it. The Reds were just overmatched from Jump Street. They've had a great year though and lots of times you have to lose in the playoffs before you learn how to win in the playoffs. They should be a factor in the NL Central for the next several seasons.

I agree that the Philles are the better team, but the Reds weren't overmatched last night. They gave the game away.
