LRCW
I will be interested to see if Harang has a second career as a reliever, like a lot of failed starters do. Matt Belisle was everybody's whipping boy when he was in the Reds' rotation, but he's found some life as a reliever in Colorado. I think Harang can be effective pitching half of his games at Petco. SSC
I think Harang can be effective pitching half of his games at Petco. I agree. Some of those pop ups that go out here are cans of corn there. I hope he goes there and does well.
Blue Magic
As much as I hated to see Harang pitch, it's not going to be the same in Cincinnati without that red goat-t and weird side burns on the bump. It's his time.
Michael Corleone
I have always respected Harang and was a fan of his. He seems to be nothing but a class act
ColonelCrazy
As much as I hated to see Harang pitch, it's not going to be the same in Cincinnati without that red goat-t and weird side burns on the bump. It's his time. Ondrusek can fill that role adequately.
Flotsam
Harang is a good guy and I wish him the best. But...let's not get too weepy over Aaron being left off the playoff roster and pitching his last game in a Reds uni. His last contract was for 4 years - 36.5 million dollars. A worker earning $100,000.00 per year would have to work 365 years to equal Aaron's wages since 2007.
NEERFAN
The Reds haven't benefited from his services in a few years but he was their horse during a few of those rough seasons.
