October 1, 201015 yr The wife and I went to an auction at the court house yesterday and ended up buy a home with 30+ acres of land for $67,000. The home is 3 bedrooms 2 baths. Sounds like you got an awesome deal no matter the condition of the house. Congrats.
October 1, 201015 yr That's awesome. There are definitely deals out there in this market if you can find them. Auction is definitely one way to do that. I would love to have that much land. Like titleclown said even if the house isn't in the best shape you got a heck of a deal. How big is the house? Does it need much work?

Doesn't need a lot of work, it's all minor stuff, mowing the grass, cleaning the carpet, taking up carpet in bathroom and putting down linoleum, just minor things. I'll post pictures of what it looks like now, and once we move in.
