September 28, 201015 yr I love going to the Brown Hotel when I'm in the Ville to enjoy a Hot Brown. Simply outstanding. Last time I was there, I stayed in the Muhammad Ali Suite and conducted interviews. Very nice suite. One of my favorite places. That just made me hungry. Nice to see them doing what needs to be done during difficult times.

September 29, 201015 yr UofL's Brandeis graduation was in the Brown Theater. I parked in the garage behind the hotel just to have the opportunity to walk through that amazing lobby. Beautiful place.

September 30, 201015 yr What's going on in Louisville that caused the rooms to be filled and the rates to be jacked up? I couldn't find a room last night for under $200 and that was a Courtyard.

I would assume the Equestrian Games play the biggest part in that, traffic to and from Lex has been terrible. I don't know if it's still going on but there were also a bunch of people in town from out of the country last week for something to do with Jack Daniels.

I couldn't find a room last night for under $200 and that was a Courtyard. This week is the International Boat Builders Association convention, IDeaFestival, Flyover Film Festival, WEG to start. This weekend the St. James Art Show. Louisville is going to be really, really busy right up till the 2nd or 3rd week of December.
