I left impressed only 2 teams I think that have a chance at beating SK was Henry Clay and Middletown. Nobody in NKY has the speed HC has. SK's defense was running right through HC's O-line!

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, I didn't go but listened to the broadcast. It sounded as if SK was very effective with their blitz in the first half but Williams had some success in the 2nd half finding his manned Wrs.

Green had some nice catches for HC he is very fast!

HC caught one big pass where Swanson had great position but fell as the reciever jumped. It gave HC a ton of momentum right before their second score.

With what? A defense that benefited from multiple dropped passes, one being a sure fire 60 yard TD? Linebackers who play zero coverage? An offensive line that had zero push all night? A offensive that couldn't run a play to the right the line was so weak?

 

Like I said, a win is a win. Outside of Chad, Winkler was the lone bright spot for me.

#34 for SK on Defense, Jarod Bowling I think is his name has impressed me the last two weeks and in the program it says hes only a soph...By his senior year I could see him being a monster at DE

I'd be willing to bet that both Holmes and Highlands have just as much, if not more speed than Henry Clay at the skill positions.

Outside of Chad and Winkler being the lone bright spots tonignt, I would agree. But, if that's the only plays being called what do you expect. SK ran 2 plays the 2nd half that did not include Chad running or throwing the ball and the 2nd one was at the end of the game when they should have taken a knee. And you wonder why they didn't score the 2nd half? Even an average team can beat one player and HC should have won the game tonight except for some dropped passes and poor coaching. (And the fumble at the end of the game as they were already in FG range)

I have seen Holmes play they don't have Henry Clay speed and they have bigger players. # 55 for HC was a big boy I think over 340!
