Track the Reds (2nd Half, Week #10)

Featured Replies

Chapman is much better when brought in at the start of an inning. In relief appearances when Chapman has started an inning, he has not had to deal with runners on base, since no one reaches.

Bruce came back at a great time. The offense was hurting and he's just the spark they need.

So do you guys still think the Reds have this wrapped up? If so those of you that do are really going to be shocked come the 1st of October. As I've said all along, and I stand by it, the Reds are going to choke. Now I know most of you will laugh, ridicule and even ignore my comments, but I honestly see it happening. The Reds offense is dead and their bullpen has blown leads in 3 straight games. The Reds will split with Arizona at best and will then go 3-6 at best on their last roadtrip of the year. The Cards will overtake the Reds. I am 100% confident of that. Have at it my fellow posters.

Go back to the beach.

Do you have anything special planned when the magic number goes into a single digit???

You have a suggestion?

Here is my boy proudly holding the ball that was thrown to him by the Pirates bullpen catcher. My little girl missed out because she was too busy doing what little girls do. Going to the bathroom.

Great picture. My grandkids love to go the ballgames.

Attendance: 12,061. Smallest crowd of year

That's pretty sad.

You gotta think Jared Burton will be in the Cincinnati bullpen tomorrow with Louisville being put out of the playoffs today. An extra OF would be nice too.

Good call on both accounts, with the Reds pulling Burton up & trading for Bloomquist. Fortunately, it sounds like Edmonds may be back sometime soon too.

Cordero doesn't even attempt to hold runners on.

You're right he doesn't do any better at holding them.

Amen, I hope he picks right up where he left off because he was red hot before he got hurt.

I'd say 3-4, 2 HR's and 4 RBI is picking up where he left off...

Do you think he deserves a roster spot for the playoffs? Imo he hasn't helped this team and probably won't be able to with his side the way it is.

You have a suggestion?

Nahh....I am creatively challenged, as my brown shoes and black suit will attest.

If the Reds go 8-10 in their final 18 games, the Cards have to go 16-4, just to tie....

I'll be heading up tomorrow and sitting in the dugout box seats... can't wait.
