Track the Reds (2nd Half, Week #10)

You've made like 20 predictions and that's the only one you've been close on. So much for the lead being 2 games by yesterday...

Forgot about that one.

Hey Jimmy the Greek sucked at his predictions too. I'm glad I can amuse you guys. I joined this site to give me something to do besides watch tv, and I've enjoyed it immensely.

I know the history, do you still hate USSR too?

If the USA were to compete against them you can bet your bottom dollar I would root against those Russians.

Cordero is the closer. He has been all season, and he will be for the rest of the year. He had converted his last 9 in a row and like 16 or 17 out of 18 until Friday night.

This one stings, but we still took 2 out of 3 from the Pirates.

This is all fine and dandy, and is probably the Dusty company line. But the bottom line is that CoCo doesn't pass the eyeball test -- which is more important than the numbers at this point, frankly -- and his high-wire act of leadoff walks won't float when it matters most.

I figured Burton would get the call. Kind of surprised Balentin didn't come with him though. I guess Bloomquist is a guy that can come off the bench next year too since he plays all over the field whereas Balentin is limited to LF.

Phillips 4

Cabrera 6

Votto 3

Rolen 5

Gomes 7

Stubbs 8

Hanigan 2

Heisey 9

Arroyo 1

Balentin is on the DL isn't he?

Bruce!!!

Very nice to see him back, hopefully he'll provide the offense a much need spark.

It's on you all to get through the first 6-7 innings with a lead tonight. I'll provide the late inning relief when I get home.

Great to see Bruce back in the lineup. My little boy got to slap him high five when he ran the bases after the game. I think that will bring him some good luck tonight. :D
