The Reds starting pitching for the Pirates series went 21 innings, and gave up 1 run, and came away with 0 wins. Not only is Cordero a major concern, but the offense, or the lack therof, is also starting to become a concern for me.

My father has said this for about three weeks now and he's right. I just don't see enough consistent hitting for this team to make a run. But if the starting pitching continues like it has, then the offense won't need to produce much. But hopefully they can get the bats rolling again.

So do you guys still think the Reds have this wrapped up? If so those of you that do are really going to be shocked come the 1st of October. As I've said all along, and I stand by it, the Reds are going to choke. Now I know most of you will laugh, ridicule and even ignore my comments, but I honestly see it happening. The Reds offense is dead and their bullpen has blown leads in 3 straight games. The Reds will split with Arizona at best and will then go 3-6 at best on their last roadtrip of the year. The Cards will overtake the Reds. I am 100% confident of that. Have at it my fellow posters.

Ah yes, another Track the Reds thread, another outlandish, totally insane prediction from Patrick....The annoyance level is reaching new heights with every single post...

Crawl back under that rock.

Ahh we have a response, but all you want to say is how insane my prediction is. I heard the same thing when I said they would go 0-7 against the Cardinals and Rockies. They went 1-6. Please tell me your predictions over the next 13 games and we'll compare and see just whose predictions were insane in a couple of weeks.

Crawl back under that rock.

I'll take your prediction too there Mr. Davis.

You mean like when you said the Reds would go to Arizona/LA/San Fran and go, what was it, 1-8? Meanwhile I nailed their 6-3 record. On top of that, you've been close on one prediction.

What team do you actually root for, anyway?

What the heck is a whosenpredictions?

And why do you keep toting a prediction that you got wrong?

You guys said my prediction was insane. I think missing it by only 1 game is pretty good. I can see by your failure to respond that you don't have it in you to make your own prediction.

I've let be known on several occasions that I'm a Dodger fan. Where is your prediction? You in the same boat as Mustang Fan as far as making predictions of your own I guess. That only tells me that your both worried. I can understand that.

I'll look at pitching matchups and make an educated guess. You continue to throw everything at the wall to see what sticks. I'll give you my prediction shortly.

If you're a Dodger fan, why are you so preoccupied with killing the Reds? I'll just go with my initial hunch that you're really a Cubs fan, in which I understand your anger towards the Reds. Nearly double the payroll and 20 less victories. It's fitting that you won't even admit to it, I wouldn't either.

I take it from your post that you're a rather young fellow. Anybody that was born pre 1965 or so would know of the history between the Reds and Dodgers in the old NL West and would understand my hatred for the Dodgers. As far as your Cubs comment. You must have me confused withbsomebody else. Rick Monday and Ron Cey are the only Cubs I've rooted for.

I know the history, do you still hate USSR too?

Cincy shouldn't be any worse than 4-3 this week. St. Louis will also probably go 4-3. You never know though so I'll factor in a couple surprises. The lead should still be around 6 games. Anywhere from 5-7 game lead after this week IMO.

You've made like 20 predictions and that's the only one you've been close on. So much for the lead being 2 games by yesterday...
