Have you ever watched the Reds in a playoff game? Some of you probably are too young to remember 1990.

I was thinking tonight how exciting it will be to see the stands packed and every pitch is a big deal. I still remember Jethro throwing out Andy Van Slick at 3rd in Game 2 in 90.

So, first time?

Well, I watched Wire To Wire daily as a little kid & remember the '95 series, particularly Reggie Sanders struggling vs. Atlanta.

This will easily be my most enjoyable MLB postseason ever, though.

I haven't but I'm pretty sure in 2010 I saw the reds WIN, what looked to be a tight pennant race after the all star game after getting swepped by the team that they were competing for first place with all year. I believe it was the Cardinals.

I was also at Game 2 of the 1990 World Series. What a game!

I was still a teenager living in the Baltimore suburbs in 1970, rooting for Brooks, Frank and the Orioles.

Reds / Pirates 1975

This will easily be my most enjoyable MLB postseason ever, though.

I was only going on five during the 1990 playoffs, so I can't really say I remember it.

Definitely looking forward to his one!

I have watched the Wire-to-Wire video several times. Watched all but one opening day in college, does that count as playoff memories? lol

I was at the game 3 disaster back in 1995 when the Braves made Reggie Sanders look like a little leaguer....Don't remember a ton of it, other than the atmosphere was crazy, and their pinstripe uniforms were atrocious.

I could take you to the place I was sitting when Fisk hit the homer waving it fair. Most exciting WS I ever saw. Still remember reading in the paper the next day about Pete telling Sparky what an exciting game that was and not to worry, they'd win tomorrow.

I do have a memory but it's not a pleasant one. I remember David Wells and the Reds completing the sweep against my Dodgers in the first round of the playoffs in 1995. It was the only game played in Cincinnati that series. The Reds had won the first two games in Dodger Stadium. I remember Mark Lewis hit a Grand Slam that game for the Reds.

A group of five of us headed up to Caddy's to watch Game 6 against the Pirates on their upstairs big screen (they turned down the sound and piped in Marty and Joe over the PA). Got really, really loaded, then waded into a teeming sea of people pouring into the main entrance of the joint to celebrate after the game was over. One of our group decided it would be a good idea to reach up and try to grab a beer off the full tray of a waitress who was holding it high over her head trying to get to her table. Naturally, the whole tray of a dozen or so beers was upset, spilling all over everybody nearby and, naturally again, starting a massive brawl. First time in my life I ever got physically tossed out of a bar. We finished the night with much laughing and more drinking at the Brass A in Newport.

Best part of this story? I had just turned 20 two months prior to that. :D

^ Now that's a memory right up my alley.

I watched every playoff game of the The Big Red Machine with my grandfather. Wonderful memories.

^ Now that's a memory right up my alley.

What's really amazing is that I can actually remember all those wacky details. :D
