August 3, 201016 yr I loved Friday Night Videos. I remember explicitly the afternoon my parents had a HUGE satellite dish installed in our backyard and I finally got MTV! What a happy day! First video I remember seeing on MTV was some weird thing by Mike Neismith of the Monkey's. "Sunset Sam" or something like that. Some guy that looked like Hulk Hogan strutting around in a bikini.

August 4, 201016 yr "Take on Me" was a good song/video. I forgot about Wolfman Jack. WHAM -Careless Whisper was great too. The first video/song I remember from MTV was Jon Couger Mellenkamp - Jack and Diane, and also Scarecrow. Probably not the exact names for Jon Couger, but I'm too tired to google.

August 9, 201016 yr Friday Night Videos? Dude, I watched Wolfman Jack with "The Midnight Special" back in the 70s. Thought it was the 2nd greatest thing ever behind Dick Enberg's "Sports Challenge." Two of my all-time favorite shows--- for real.
