July 9, 201016 yr Yes. Then you should also say that even though he was convicted of the crime the California Appellate Court overturned that decision. Then the subsequent trials that followed were declared mistrials. The state of California then dropped the case.
July 9, 201016 yr This new black panther party has something very similar to the black muslim movement started by Elijah Muhammad. Does anyone know what that is? If you do then you will see that they are more in tune with that group than the black panthers started by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale.

July 9, 201016 yr I never mentioned anything about a conviction. He was a cop killer.I know you didn't that is why I brought it up.
July 9, 201016 yr Racism is racism is racism is racism... whether it comes from a skinhead with swastikas tattooed all over his hide... or this bitter, shriveled, hate filled little man. IMO, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would have distanced himself and his message as far away from this person as he would have the KKK. If he genuinely believed what he said about judging individuals "not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character" this little hateful man would fall well short of a favorable judgment. I now present you the thoughts of King Samir Shabazz as recorded in a National Geographic documentary:
July 9, 201016 yr Would you consider this voter intimitation at a Philadelphia polling location after viewing King Samir's warm feelings toward crackers in the previous video clip?
July 9, 201016 yr Would you consider this voter intimitation at a Philadelphia polling location after viewing King Samir's warm feelings toward crackers in the previous video clip? The cat with the baton has been banned from being within 100 yards of a polling police with anything in his hand.
July 9, 201016 yr The cat with the baton has been banned from being within 100 yards of a polling police with anything in his hand. "...in Philadelphia..." I don't know that he has any further restrictions outside of Philly... This was an open and shut case with conclusive evidence that was won and subsequently dropped by the DOJ. Perhaps I'm jaded, but I have a feeling that if you replaced the "King" with some skinhead cracker... the cracker would be behind bars right now. I genuinely don't have an axe to grind here other than pointing out that just as "character" has no direct relevance to a person's skin tone... neither should justice. That's why "Lady Justice" portrayed with scales in her hand also wears a blindfold. :thumb:
July 9, 201016 yr The cat with the baton has been banned from being within 100 yards of a polling police with anything in his hand. Actually he was just suspended and can go to any poll other than Philly starting with 2010 mid-term elections . Then he can even go to Philly in 2012 and be at the polls.

Am I correct that President Obama's DOJ obtained a default judgment against the guy? What is a default judgment?

July 9, 201016 yr Whether anyone believes me or not King Samir Shabazz is not a black panther or at least from the group that was started by Seale and Newton. These guys are from the black muslim separatist movement. They are trying to use the name as a cover. Listen to the clips then go back and listen to some of the old clips of Malcom X before he left the group founded by Elijah Muhammad. Also note the names. The Black Panthers of the '60's used their own names.
July 9, 201016 yr Whether anyone believes me or not King Samir Shabazz is not a black panther or at least from the group that was started by Seale and Newton. . You are correct.
July 9, 201016 yr Am I correct that it was President Bush's DOJ that dropped the charges initially? Am I correct that President Obama's DOJ obtained a default judgment against the guy? What is a default judgment? A default judgment is a judgment entered against a defendant who failed to defend himself.
