July 14, 201016 yr Does ANYBODY want to answer the question about what legal remedy should be handed down that wasn't?Are you going to answer the question that was asked of you?
July 14, 201016 yr I think it was intimidation and they got an injunction. What does the law say is the remedy. What more do you want? I am much more intimidated by a semi-automatic weapon, than I am by a baton. I was yelling because I don't think you all have heard that there was a finding against Samir. Does ANYBODY want to answer the question about what legal remedy should be handed down that wasn't? I did answer it in post #78. Now, ANYBODY want to answer the question about what legal remedy should have been handed down that wasn't?
July 14, 201016 yr Does ANYBODY want to answer the question about what legal remedy should be handed down that wasn't? The legal remedy that was handed down was adequate, but then the charges were dropped and the injunction against Shabazz was severely reduced. This is where the problem is IMO. Is it possible that you believe the same scenario would have played out if the ignorant thugs had been skinheads, or some other extreme caucasian state militia group? The laws of every state vary, but at the very least, the penalties for getting caught should be severe enough to outweigh the rewards for succeeding. It should never be worth the risk. AND TO BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR... I would be for full prosecution of any individuals or groups guilty of the same acts regardless of ethnicity or belief system.
