June 9, 201016 yr I hope this isn't true because I like Izzo. He would be a fool to leave for Cleveland before knowing what LeBron is going to do IMO. Sure 6 million a year is nice, but there is no job security in the NBA, especially like what he has at Michigan State. The grass is not always greener on the other side.
June 9, 201016 yr I don't know how good of a hire this would be. He is a players coach but he wins because he recruits players that fit his system and his system won't work in the NBA IMO.

June 9, 201016 yr There is security when he gets guaranteed money for 4-5 years. Really? That didn't help Larry Brown in NY and he still had 5 years (I think) left on his deal. There is no job security in the NBA unless you're Phil Jackson. Seems that all of these contracts have some way to get out of them or pay less money.
