Don't blame other people for your problems... but look to me (BHO) for your answers.

From the anointed one: Do as I say, not as I do.

RTS, when Republican hypocricy is pointed out you blow it off as all politicians are hypocritical, but you don't miss a chance to blow something out of proportion from the democratic side. Seems hypocritical to me:idunno:

Hows that mirror working out for you, 2 Hump? I've yet to see you point out anything wrong about Obama.

Question for you: Do you not see the hypocrisy of his comments?

I tihnk you are stretching big time on this one RTS. If we can take that clip and his comments and use it to call someone names (hypocrite), then we are no better than any person we choose to point our fingers at and put blame on. Let's leave the petty crap alone. It is a waste of time and energy to try to trump up negativity from the comments in that clip and it is counterproductive.

 The man went against everything he's been saying for a long time now. I don't know if you've seen or not, but he blames Bush and the Republicans for just about everything and then tells these kids not point fingers.

I think the fact the you and 2 Humped Camel are focused on me rather than Obama in this thread is rather funny. What were you saying about trying to trump up negativity and being counterproductive? I suppose you don't think Obama is doing either all the while he's pointing fingers?

I guess I am not paying enough attention because I don't hear Obama doing all the finger pointing and blaming you refer to. I hear the left wing blow hards doing it just like I hear the right wing blow hards doing the same. I'm not "focused" on you. I just think you are really reaching in this thread.

Not reaching at all, he's been in campaign mode since he started his campaign. By October of 2009, he blamed Bush for the economy, global warming, the credit crisis, Middle East stalemate, the deficit, anti-Americanism abroad. That's been a continual "strategy" for him since day one. When it isn't Bush, it's the Republicans. I think you're right, you may not have been paying attention to the things he's been saying.

Oh, and most recent, it's Bush's fault for the oil spill crisis.

RTS, do you have any clips or links to any of what you mentioned?

Hmmm ... and you say it's Obama doing all this blame game? I guess I will do some "googling" and try to get better informed on this. I read the paper every day and don't recall seeing much about it in there.

I don't think Obama has been the one to blame Bush very often. On the other hand, he doesn't appear to be trying to rein in those from his side who have been. Maybe they were in the audience.

Just Google "Obama blames Bush" or "Obama blames Republicans", there's no shortage of them.

You're totally missing the point of the thread. It's Obama that's calling for the students to not blame others yet Obama doesn't see himself for what he is, one that loves to point the finger. No one is arguing that both sides don't have hypocrites, that's an everyday part of politics. It's just so humorous to watch him talk the talk while not walking the walk because he trips over his own feet.
