Irony – Thy Name Is Obama.

Featured Replies

Sorry, but phony is phony, and that's how he comes across.

Weren't you the guy with the anti-Obama avatar and the location that read "No Barack, you can't"? :sssh:

Personal growth is an awesome thing to behold.

Regardless of who it was delivering the message, it's a good one that hopefully is taken seriously. I wish just once people could appreciate the message being delivered, rather than worry about the person giving it.

It's official. Hades can now be successfully traversed on a pair of ice skates. We unequivocally agree on a P&R issue.

This post displays maturity that is often hard to find here. I'd like to think I can get beyond the (insert caveman grunt here) Bush Bad, Obama Good (or vice-versa) mentality. Being raised in a household that believed Lyndon Johnson was a bit to the right of Atilla the Hun makes it tough, though.

 So we should just completely ignore the message, because he places blame just like every other politician in the history of the United States has done?

Hopefully these kids have more sense than that.

Hopefully they can see you the baloney as well.

It certainly was... what happened since???

I think most can. I believe people have come to expect politicians to be hypocrits. We're still going to buy in when it's our guy though.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with this....At least I'm smart enough to be able to form independent opinions on things on an individual basis instead of blindly following my party like a sheep, and criticizing everything the President does.
Oh, I see, so when it's your opinion you're smart enough to be able to form independent opinions on things on an individual basis instead of blindly following your party like a sheep, when it's someone that has a different opinion they're not. Gotcha. I wasn't aware that you were the only one on here that had the right to "bash" the president and it's you that clarifies what topics. I'll try to keep that in mind.

Personally, I don't find him phony at all. As I mentioned in another post, no matter what the man does, you won't cut him any slack at all. You condemn me for not starting threads bashing him, but, where are your threads praising him?

Like what he's trying to do or not, he is doing things differently. He's agressivly pushing through legislation that he promised. That's good in the eyes of many of us.

Where's your thread that praises him for not taking away your guns? :D

Like I told you, I have at least one, where's your's? Nowhere to be found. The legislation he's pushing through comes at too high of a price and isn't even close to good legislation. That's bad in the eyes of many of us.

He has at least two years left in office, I'll let you know on the gun thing when I find out what he's going to do.

I don't care if you one up me. But, there's no reason for me to start any threads disagreeing with anything he proposes.....by the time I get up in the mornings, you've taken care of that. :p

As mcpapa once said, I do disagree with him on some things....I think he's not being liberal enough. :D

Say's the "moderate". :p

I'll praise him for something. He is, beyond a shadow of doubt, the best shyster of ALL time. He came across, to a lot of fooled voters, that he was going to be one to govern from the center. One that would change Washington for the better. The ONLY thing he's doing different is turning left more than a Nascar driver. His turn signal is stuck on left. Many of his supporters are starting to come around, some are still mesmerized by his foolery.

:thumb: I, too, think that growth and maturity is a good thing. Being able to separate the message from any negative feelings we may have towards the speaker is difficult to do. I struggle at it myself sometimes.

Both parts. You may not like his leadership, but it is indeed leadership.
Junior Varsity leadership isn't what we need right now, the problems he's had to face recently have exposed him for what he is, inexperienced.
Say's the "moderate". :p

In comparison to those you know, she may be on the far left (add me in too, I guess), but in reality, she is a moderate.

We disagree on much, RTS.

I'm done with this crap. Bash away. But, I won't be reading. I'll look for threads started by people I know to be objective, with legitimate points to argue.

Have fun1

Glad to see you're not making it personal.

In your opinion.
