June 10, 201016 yr Wow a 10 pitch inning for Coco to get the save! Been a long time for that. That is what we like to see. Way to keep battling back guys!
June 10, 201016 yr Any way Rhodes is left off the All-Star team if he keeps this up? Right now, I see the Reds with 4 reps... Rolen Phillips Rhodes Leake/Votto
June 10, 201016 yr Who are these foreign guys the Giants keep trotting out there with miniscule ERAs and where do the Reds find them? I'm not positive who you're talking about. Batista has been in the bigs for a while. Casilla is having a great year, but he was horrible for Oakland for the past couple of seasons. Romo has been solid for the Giants for a few years now. Mota is having a great year, but he'll come back down to earth. Looking at their individual numbers, the SF bullpen has been brilliant. But with Cain, Lincecum, Zito & Sanchez, I doubt they've thrown nearly as many innings as the Reds (or any other team, for that matter).

Rolen Phillips Rhodes Leake/Votto Rhodes, without a doubt, is an all-star. He has a .33 ERA. Phillips & Rolen could both be All Stars. Votto should be, as well. The problem with #19 is that he'll have to overcome the popular fan vote of Prince Fielder, Albert Pujols, Ryan Howard, et. al.
June 10, 201016 yr Mike Leake is 5-0 with an ERA under 2.50. He should be an all-star, but we'll see. For the Reds' sake, I hope he doesn't throw in the AS game. The less innings the better...

Only 1 1B is selected by the fans, and Votto deserves it over Prince and Howard IMO.
June 10, 201016 yr I talked to two scouts about Aaron Harang – one from the National League and another from the American League– both were impressed last night. “That’s the best I’ve seen him in two years,” one said. “The only thing he should do is junk that curveball,” the other said. http://cincinnati.com/blogs/reds/2010/06/10/harang-impresses-scouts/ Well you can eliminate most teams because the article says both teams can afford them. I imagine that would leave New York or LA in the NL, and Boston, NY and maybe the Angels in the AL.
