April 16, 201214 yr Yes!!!! Finally got my glaze right for my honey bourbon glazed chicken! It takes time, but when you get it dead on,it's rewarding, huh?
April 16, 201214 yr Where is this Jim. I have family that lives in Bardstown. Next time I am down would love to meet you. Boone's Butcher Shop
April 17, 201214 yr Got a big London Broil at the commissary at McDill AFB. As long as you take your time, it comes out juicy and tender. The meat on base is half what you pay at a civilian supermarket and even more than that off what you pay at a butcher, and the meat was as good as any I've raised, too.
April 30, 201214 yr Does anyone own a Big Green Egg or other form of ceramic grill. They are quite expensive, but they also intrigue me. I currently have a gas grill and a barrell/box smoker that I cook on, was wondering about the Egg's!

There is also a Treager Grill that I have messed around with quite a bit that is kind of cool.

I've cooked quite a bit on Traegers. The finished product is fantastic...but they are slow to get there. I wouldn't buy one unless I planned on having another backup grill for the times I want to just do a good old fashioned burger nice and quick.

I wouldn't buy one unless I planned on having another backup grill for the times I want to just do a good old fashioned burger nice and quick. I would not do a traditional burger on a Traeger. A Traeger is definitely the second grill of a house. When you have the time they are great.

May 3, 201214 yr Alright...I found bone-in chicken breasts on sale on Monday. I've currently got three of them thawing in the fridge at home, and I have no idea what I want to do with them (I haven't cooked bone-in breasts for quite some time now). Any suggestions?
