May 18, 201016 yr You don't continue winning in the playoffs shooting long jumpers. The Suns should have taken notes yesterday from how the Magic played for much of the game, that you have to be able to score in the paint and defend the paint to win in the playoffs. Kobe isn't going to go for 40 every night, but the Lakers won't need it. The Suns don't attack the basket, can't rebound, and couldn't stop the Lakers inside if their lives depended on it.
May 18, 201016 yr Now that we know that it's going to be the Lakers and Celtics in the Finals can we please get an Adam Morrison sighting?:idunno: I'll be back in the NBA Finals unless one of these two losing teams from game 1 remember they are supposed to be one of the 4 best teams in the NBA. And yes, I saw JJ Redick and Nelson and Carter spark the Magic to a 4th quarter comeback against a Boston team that didn't play that good at all......and still won. If the Magic have to rely on those 3 to win the series, it'll be over in 5, maybe 4 games. Howard was a non factor yesterday and we all know when you get in his head, he is done. I truly expect the Magic to be down 2-0 after tomorrow. And take Pau out the game Phil would ya. Geez.:taz:
May 18, 201016 yr Lakers/Celtics is what the NBA wants and what this NBA fan wants to see. If any team is capable of stopping the Lakers this year I think it's the Celtics. Orlando would basically be another Phoenix IMO, as far as the Lakers are concerned.

If the Celtics win this game they essentially win the series and from the looks of things both of these series could be short. May 19, 201016 yr Carter and Howard with 3 fouls. My question is.....Why did we all overlook the Celtics coming in to the playoffs? When healthy they are favorite 1A along with LA being 1B (or most likely vice-versa) IMO.
May 19, 201016 yr I have a theory, could be right or wrong. Vince Carter has 12 points on 3/10 shooting. 5 FT attempts, zero assists. 3:40 left in the third. I want to see what he ends up with.
