Guilty pleasure: Movie

Featured Replies

Fried Green Tomatoes and I can't figure out for the life of me why. I bet I've seen this a million times, and quite frankly, I would never admit that to anyone who knew me.

Please leave your man card with the receptionist on your way out.

Yeah no kidding. Seriously, I would see a shrink for this had I money to burn.

LOL, truly!!

Strange Brew, the Adventures of Bob and Doug McKenzie. I know it is lame and corny, but I cannot resist it. Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas crack me up. I used to watch it all the time on VHS but that tape tore up years ago. I need to find a DVD copy.

Also "RV". My kids groan if they even see it on the menu anymore. I can't skip it.

You knob.

You knob.
Take off, eh. You hoser.

So called "bad" movies that I enjoy.

Batman and Robin. Arnold as Mr. Freeze is just so bad it's enjoyable.

Kevin Costner's Waterworld.

And a "chick flick" that I have watched several times and enjoy, Where the Heart Is.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The Gene Wilder version. The newer Johnny Depp version is OK but no where near as good as the original.

Willy Wonka is no guilty pleasure.. It's just awesome.

I was flipping through recently and came across the movie "Airborne". It's a movie about rollerblading and bad jokes, most of which was filmed in Cincinnati and northern Kentucky. Early roles for Jack Black and Seth Green. I like the movie.

I was an extra in that...I was a fan cheering at the finish line, hahaha

"Twister" is also on this list for me... I feel like it's the cheesiest movie ever as I'm watching it, but I can't ever seem to turn it off.

I also just like seeing if I can catch the hundreds of bloopers in it.

Twister is good!!!!

Another cow.

Nope same one.

I own that on DVD...why's is a guilty pleasure? It's hilarious

There are a lot of relatively unpopular movies that I like, but not quite so many that I'd call "guilty pleasures". The only outright guilty pleasure that I can think of is a Don Knotts & Tim Conway movie called "Private Eyes". Other than that...maybe a couple of musicals that I did high school theater productions of way back when.

That thing you do... :idunno:

Great movie, watch it every time I catch it on tv!

Has anyone ever seen what has been proclaimed by many to be the worst movie every made, Plan 9 From Outer Space? I watched it once and it was so bad it was enjoyable watching it just to see how bad it would be.
