thenamerobdigity
X actually has 1456 and T has 1381...The KHSAA site has all the all boy schools enrollment figures doubled. Still, that's a big discrepancy, either way...However, schools like Henry Clay, Dunbar, Eastern, Henderson Co and Scott Co aren't that far behind with 1000 or more, themselves... Even though teams like Apollo and Christian are at a disadvantage #s wise, it's not like you can't field a very competitive team with 700 or so boys in your top 4 grades...Highlands has 425 boys and they seem to do okay... I personally believe numbers are a huge deal. Of course there will be exceptions, but a school with more players in theory should win more often. mcpapa
I always enjoy reading these "potential re-alignment" threads, espscially with respect to football. I don't have the energy to come up with statewide scenarios, but I appreciate those that do.:thumb:

Of course there will be exceptions, but a school with more players in theory should win more often. No argument from me. Numbers certainly do make a difference, especially when there are no geographic restrictions. i'm just saying teams with 700 boys should still field solid teams that can compete.
