Except I don't think that show goes over very well in today's PC world! Still a riot watching the reruns.

That would be like Andy Griffith without Barney. Oh that's right they did that and it was aweful.

 

MASH without the original actors would be a poor imitation IMVHO.

They tried that; didn't go over well. Granted, it was a weird mish-mash of original and new characters that was kind of doomed to fail, but it did last two seasons in syndication.

Frankly, I think NCF had the best suggestion of all in the first post. "White Shadow" is a show that almost demands to be updated.

Night Rider....er, nevermind.

I was actually 1 of the 10 people that watched the updated Bionic Woman.
