Lebron probably would have the best chance, but there are some other guys in the NBA, that if they wanted to be scoring Champ too. They could end up giving Lebron a run for his money for it. I mean any one star player right now could win the scoring title right now if they wanted to, if no other star is trying to make that their goal to. Durant is the best pure scorer in the league IMO. I think he'd give LeBron all he could handle if they really tried to do it.

With his improved outside and mid range game, he has solidified himself as the best all around player in the league.

But all things being equal, Kobe in his prime is the only current player that I think could realistically score with LeBron, if they set their minds to scoring as much as they could every game. Durant's game is scoring pretty much scoring as much as he can anyway and he's just scoring about as much as LeBron. If LeBron wasn't trying to fill the stat sheet with assist and shooting 3's, I don't think it would be close. LeBron is really unstoppable going to the basket, especially in regular season games because teams don't make as many adjustments as they do in playoff times. Homer or not, I'll take LeBron going to the basket over any other player in the league scoring in their usual/best way. There are some games LeBron doesn't even try to score alot, there are numerous times this season when he didn't take many shots at all.

April 4, 201016 yr LeBron's problem is he is brutally honest. There's little doubt in my mind that he could decide to win the scoring title and do it if he decided that's what he need to do. Maybe it wasn't the best way to say it, but it's probably the truth, just like it would have been for Kobe in his prime, or Jordan, etc. :thumb: There's no doubt in my mind that he could do it every single year if he wanted to.
April 4, 201016 yr On a side note, LeBron just reinforced the point that Skip constantly says about him. LeBron has the ball down 2 with a few seconds left and takes a absolutely terrible pull up 3 instead of driving the basket. Nobody can stop LeBron when he drives but I kind of agree with Skip that he's afraid to go to the line in late game situations so he always settles for the jumper. That would be my biggest knock on his game.

And if you say he choked last year either you didn't watch the series or you're extremely biased. LeBron had one of the best individual series of all-time against the Magic, and was the only reason the series went to 6 games. As a matter of fact I want to hear one time when he's choked in the playoffs, because he really never has. There wasn't much he could have done to change the outcome of the Magic series last year, nor the Celtics one two seasons ago. And the Finals series against the Spurs was just a mismatch of historic proportions.

Jason Kidd and Stockton aren't in the top 5 or so PGs of all-time? Reggie Miller isn't among the top 3 or 4 shooters in NBA history? Is LeBron going to magically be a better player when he wins a title? He's at worst the third best wing player of the last 20 years and barring a career ending injury is a lock for the HOF. Maybe he can't be compared to Jordan or even Kobe without some hardware, but insignificant was a horrible word choice no matter how you slice it. No matter if you like him or not, he's still one of the two best players on the planet, and most consider him the best as of today. How that can be insignificant I will never know.:idunno: He's soon to have two MVP awards, how can that be insignificant?
