LeBron had one of the best individual series of all-time against the Magic, and was the only reason the series went to 6 games. As a matter of fact I want to hear one time when he's choked in the playoffs, because he really never has.

 

There wasn't much he could have done to change the outcome of the Magic series last year, nor the Celtics one two seasons ago. And the Finals series against the Spurs was just a mismatch of historic proportions.

I have seen Lebron miss a lot of FT's down the stretch of games in his career. I think Lebron should strive to get his FT% up into the low to mid 80 percent range. He should be able to do that. Maybe he's improved in that area this season, but in the past, that's been one of his biggest flaws, IMO.

I don't watch every team in the league, so I don't know if there's a worse coach. I have watched all of the serious contenders and I believe Mike Brown is easily the worst coach of a title contending team. Terrible.

 

What he did, or actually didn't do, in the series against Orlando last season was a joke.

 

For six consecutive games Cleveland's game plan was to let it's best defensive player and the only guy who could match up with Hedo or Lewis (Lebron) guard Orlando's worse player, while giving Orlando the benefit of huge mismatches with both of those guys. Why? Because they employed an equally genius offensive game plan...clear out for Lebron for 48 minutes every game.

 

Maybe nothing else would have worked, but we'll never know. I'm certain nobody can win a title by asking one man to carry his team for 48 minutes through the playoffs. They weren't going to win that way. They should have tried something else. Anything.

Jordan won his first title in his 7th season and had the help of Scottie Pippen. LeBron is in his 7th season, and has never played with a player of Pippen's caliber, no matter how you slice it. Sure he has Shaq now, but everyone knows it isn't the same Shaq.

 

Kobe has won rings with Shaq and then with Gasol. Gasol is probably going to end up being a HOF'er. Has LeBron ever played with anyone close to Gasol? What about Odom? Jamison is about as close as he has gotten to a legit other star on his team, but we don't know how it will work out.

He put up similar numbers, but he wasn't as good. It's easy to put up numbers on a bad team. He's about the same scoring wise, but he's light years ahead of where he was as an overall PG and especially as a defender though he's still not elite in that capacity. I hate when people say that, because most probably only saw him play a handful of games with the Bucks, if that.

Let's not act like that finals team faced a very tough Eastern conference....That was during the time the East was about as weak as one conference has ever been.
